This year's theme "Give as He Gave." Last year's structure was daily with theme was "25 Ways in 25 Days," focusing on the "ways we serve." This year's structure will be a weekly theme, focused on "whom to serve." We were invited to attend the "Light the World" Influencer Meetup 2018, in Sandy, Utah last night. At the event the church unveiled their "Light the World" Christmas campaign for 2018. The event was a wonderful meetup with instagramers, facebookers, pinners, podcasters, bloggers and all kinds of social media people from the region. After the meetup, connecting with others, and a delicious meal, we moved into the theater to see the peek into what is coming 1 December with the "Light the World - Give as He Gave " campaign!
We are enjoying ourselves at the "Light the World" meet up.
This really set the tone and got us excited about this year's campaign!
1 December - "Worldwide Day of Service"
The kicko-ff day for the "Light to World" 2018 Christmas Campaign is a worldwide day of service.
People all over the world "providing simple acts of service in their own neighborhoods and communities."

Focus on ways to serve others globally.
Week Two 9 -15 December "Light Your Community"
Find ways you can reach out and serve your community.
Week Three 16 - 22 December "Light Your Family"
This week show love to those closest to you.
Week Four 23-29 December "Light Your Faith"
Use this final week to increase your own faith in Jesus Christ.
The Giving Machines
The Giving Machine is back!!! Last year there was a giving Machine at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in down-town Salt Lake City, Utah. This year the Giving Machines will return and there will be four additional locations, two more stateside and two international locations.
23 December "Invitation Sunday"
A special sacrament meeting that members can invite their friends to that is focused on the borth of the Savior. Details of "Invitation Sunday" will come through ward leaders and ward councils.
"Light the World " Christmas Campaign 2018, begins 1 December. Our family enjoyed doing the Light the world in 2017 and we are looking forward to this year! How will you be involved?
